Addis Ababa, 8 September 2021 (TDI): Ethiopian Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed with his delegation was on a one-day working visit to Senegal where he met with Senegalese President Macky Sall.
The two leaders spoke extensively on bilateral and African issues professing a common understanding of strengthening partnerships for continental growth and integration.
Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed noted the visible changes that Senegal has made under Macky Sall’s presidency. Abiy Ahmed expressed the need to work together in order to strengthen continental integration, exploit common resources, and leverage young human capital for continental economic prosperity. Moreover, President Macky Sall congratulated Ethiopia on the success of the elections and reiterated Senegal’s commitment to working closely with shared the vision.
