Ethiopian Ambassador Interacted with Ethiopian community in Uganda


Kampala, 02 September 2021 (TDI): Ambassador of the Democratic Republic of Ethiopia to Uganda Alemtsehay Meseret met with the Ethiopian community in Uganda on Wednesday.

Ambassador Alemtsehay Meseret thanked and applauded the efforts of the Ethiopian community in providing moral and economic support to the defense forces of Ethiopia. The Ethiopian Ambassador stated that the ethnic community in Uganda played an important role in the settlement of the refugees from Ethiopia which were continuously facing extreme social and economic pressures due to the crisis of COVID-19. Furthermore, the Ethiopian Ambassador to Uganda asserted that Ethiopia condemns the acts of the Tigray People Liberation Front which are continuously perpetrating cruelties and enormities towards Ethiopian people.
