Samarkand, 11 November 2022 (TDI): Turkiye’s President, Recep Tayyip Erdogan received the Supreme Order of the Turkic World. During a ceremony at Eternal City Convention Center, the award was presented in appreciation for his contributions to the Turkic World.
While presenting the award, the President of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev praised the President of Turkiye. He acknowledged the major role and contribution of President Erdogan. Likewise, he mentioned his role in cooperation between Turkic States and people.
President Mirziyoyev said, “In recognition of your efforts and contributions, we as the Organization of Turkic States are conferring the Supreme Order of Turkic World on you.”
President Erdogan’s Remarks
President Erdogan on his part expressed his gratitude for receiving the Supreme Order of the Turkic World. Moreover, he stated that they have emerges as a stronger nation in form of the Turkic world.
Along these lines, he said that they were committed to integrating all aspects of the citizen’s life, including economics, culture, politics, and trade.
While considering the success of the Organization of Turkic States as a result of joint efforts, the President of Turkiye also thanked everyone. He thanked & appreciated the hospitality of Uzbekistan’s President.
In addition, he also wished success to Kazakhstan. President Erdogan also praised the President of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev for his success in Karabakh. He said that being a Turk he felt proud to see the developments there.

President Erdogan also thanked the Prime Minister of Hungary, Viktor Orban for acting as a link between Europe and the Turkic region as the observer state. In this vein, he congratulated Prime Minister Orban for his efforts to promote democracy in the EU.
Lastly, President Erdogan stated that accepting the award brings a lot of responsibility to him. He shared that they all are committed to continuing their efforts to deepen the solidarity among their people.
Furthermore, he also referred to improving the relations between the states along with raising the status of their organization internationally.
