Egypt and Brazil discussed collaborative measures to gain mutual interests

New York, 25 September 2021 (TDI): The Foreign Minister of Egypt, Sameh Shoukry, and Brazil’s Foreign Minister, Carlos Franca, met in New York to discuss advanced cooperation. During their official meeting, both Foreign Ministers also discussed bilateral collaboration in regional and international problems in light of Brazil’s non-permanent membership for 2022-2023 in the UN Security Council (UNSC).

The Foreign Ministers Sameh Shoukry and Foreign Minister Carlos Franca also exchanged ideas about the most pressing regional and worldwide concerns and opportunities to collaborate on common issues. Even after the UN General Assembly session, Egypt has remained active in discussing the aim and stance of Egypt on the regional and international levels.

Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry has conducted meetings with different partners to manage Egypt’s political, economic, and social relations with other states.
