Riyadh, 6 October 2021 (TDI): The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is looking to strengthening its diplomatic meeting with African nations. Yesterday, Prince Faisal bin Farhan receives the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Burundi in a diplomatic meeting.
According to official Saudi information, in the diplomatic meeting, they reviewed friendship and joint cooperation between the two countries. In addition, ways to strengthen aspects of bilateral cooperation, considering regional and international developments. This represents important progress in their diplomatic relations.
On Sunday, the authorities signed two agreements on cooperation between their countries. The agreements aim to achieve fair cooperation for the recruitment of Burundian workers in professions legally defined in the Kingdom, protect the rights of both employers and workers, and organize the contractual relationship between them. The Saudi Minister of State for African Countries Affairs Ambassador was responsible for coordination details.
As part of Saudi Arabian foreign policy, the country looks to expand its ties worldwide. In past days, the Kingdom held a meeting with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Togo.
As well, European Union representative Josep Borrell signed with Saudi Arabia’s Foreign Minister Faisal bin Farhan a cooperation arrangement to reinforce ties.
