Lisbon, 30 September 2021 (TDI): Maria Nilause Tarp has been appointed as the new Ambassador of Denmark to Portugal.
Denmark’s new Ambassador Maria said that she is honoured to present her credentials to Portuguese President Marcelo Rebelo de Sousa.

Maria Nilause Tarp is ambitious and looking forward to representing Denmark in Portugal. She anticipates working for strengthening the bilateral relations between Denmark and Portugal.
Denmark and Portugal share historic diplomatic ties that were established in 1896.
They are cooperating on many ventures, and both sides have been engaged in public diplomacy for years.
