Delegation of Afghan political leaders visit Pakistan in times of crisis

Islamabad, 15 August 2021 (TDI): Mohammad Sadiq, Special Representative for Afghanistan, and Mansoor Ahmed Khan, Ambassador of Pakistan to Afghanistan, informed about the delegation of Afghan political leaders that visited Pakistan today. It was a three-day visit. Afghan political leaders delegation include Salah-ad-Din Rabbani, Ulusi Jirga Mir Rehman Rehmani, Ustad Mohammad Karim Khalili, Abdul Latif Pedram, Khalid Noor, Mohammad Yunus Qanooni, Ahmed Wali Massoud, Ustad Mohammad Mohaqiq, and Ahmad Zia.

Afghanistan mostly came under the control of Taliban and the security condition in the country is alarming. So the delegation would discuss the way of achieving peace and stability in a war-torn country would be discussed and negotiated. In addition to that, the areas of mutual interests and look forward to strengthening relations and cooperation in different fields.
