Port-au-Prince, 15 August 2021 (TDI): An earthquake of almost 7.2 magnitudes hit Haiti’s capital yesterday. This severe earthquake destroyed many buildings and cities and eventually killed more than 300 people in the country. Countries across the globe provided their support and help with Haiti in facing the situation.
Belgium sent a message of solidarity with Haiti due to the disastrous earthquake. It also conveyed its best wishes to the injured people and paid condolences to the families of the victims.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Greece also stated that their sincere thoughts and best wishes are with everyone affected by Haiti’s earthquake. They also expressed their condolences to the families of the victims and said that Greece stands with the people and government of Haiti.
