Islamabad (TDI): Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar has highlighted the need to further strengthen Pakistan’s relationship with Japan, especially in key areas such as trade, investment, IT, and industrial collaboration.
He shared these views on Monday during a meeting with Ambassador-designate to Japan Abdul Hameed Bhutta, who called on him ahead of his departure for Tokyo.
He congratulated the diplomat on his new assignment and conveyed his best wishes for a successful tenure.
Dar advised to provide all possible support to the Pakistani community in Japan, with a focus on further improving consular services and ensuring the welfare of the diaspora.

Moreover, the Foreign Minister also received a high-level UAE delegation headed by Deputy Minister of Cabinet Affairs for Competitiveness and Knowledge Exchange, Abdullah Nasser Lootah.
Commending the positive trajectory of Pakistan-UAE ties, they discussed further enhancing bilateral collaboration in the sectors of governance, institutional development, and public sector innovation.
