Dar Calls on Belarusian President

Islamabad (TDI): Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar called  on President of Belarus Aleksandr Lukashenko in Islamabad on Tuesday.

They discussed matters of mutual interest besides sharing views on regional and global issues.

As stated by MOFA on its official X account, both sides expressed satisfaction at the upward trajectory of bilateral relations and increasing collaboration on technology and other matters.

The two leaders emphasized the importance of enhancing bilateral cooperation and dialogues.

Separately, in a meeting between Pakistani Premier Shahbaz Sharif and the Belarusian President, the two sides reiterated the shared commitment of both countries to the deepening of their political dialogue, strengthening inter-parliamentary exchanges and, in particular, enhancing bilateral trade, collaboration on technology exchange and economic cooperation.

Belarus also agreed to share technology with Pakistan and ensure Pakistani textiles and products access to Belarusian Markets.The two countries also share views and interest on regional and global issues including Kashmir and Palastine.
