Danish State Secretary calls on Pakistani Foreign Secretary


Islamabad, 27 august 2021 (TDI): Ambassador of Denmark to Pakistan, Lis Rosenholm gave a statement on the meeting of State Secretary of Denmark, Steen Hommel with Foreign Secretary of Pakistan, Sohail Mahmood. The Danish Ambassador stated that Steen Hommel praised the transit and mediatory role played by Pakistan and appreciated Pakistani authorities in Afghanistan. With the help of Pakistan, Denmark supervised successful attempts and managed to evacuate people safely from Afghanistan.

Furthermore, the Ambassador of Denmark to Pakistan and the State Secretary expressed that this joint venture was not possible without Pakistan’s fast and effective actions, well-organized teamwork, and management. In the past, Pakistan and Denmark enjoyed good relations and this joint operation brought both countries even more close.
