Nicosia, 27 September 2021 (TDI): Cypriot Foreign Minister Nikos Christodulides met with his counterparts on the sidelines of the 76th UNGA session.
On the sidelines of the 76th UNGA, Cyprus Foreign Minister met with his non-European counterparts. Also met with the heads of the international organizations.
Foreign Minister anticipated strengthening the diplomatic and bilateral relations with other countries. Also discussed were the developments in the region and many issues like the Afghanistan issue, coronavirus pandemic. Foreign Minister also discussed the international and regional issues.

Furthermore, Christodulides signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on development cooperation with his Palestinian counterpart. Austrian Foreign Minister also signed an agreement with the Iraqi Foreign Minister. He gave an invitation to Kazakhstan’s Foreign Minister to visit Cyprus with a business delegation.
