Pakistan remains active on Diplomatic Front in 2024: FO

 Islamabad (TDI): The year 2024 remained an active year for Pakistan’s diplomatic and foreign policy landscape, marked by enhanced regional and global ties that contributed to enhancing soft image of Pakistan.

At her yearly roundup briefing in Islamabad on Thursday, Foreign Office Spokesperson Mumtaz Zahra Baloch said our diplomatic efforts throughout the year were aimed at increasing Pakistan’s international profile and enhancing relations with countries in all regions of the world.

She said frequent high-level exchanges during the year amplified our efforts as visits with Azerbaijan, China, Belarus, Belgium, Egypt, the United kingdom, Turkiye, Iran, Jordan, Russia, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and others helped develop important understandings with these countries.

Earlier, she had also commented on successful SCO summit in Pakistan in October.

The summit was widely praised by the regional countries and it helped strengthening Pakistan’s position internationally and provided an opportunity to world leaders to understand Pakistan’s positions on various issues.

The summit also contributed to bilateral agreements and MOUs signed between Pakistan and other member countries.
