Islamabad, 11 October 2021 (TDI): The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Pakistan collaborated with the Thai Embassy in Pakistan to organize the Cycling event. It was organized to celebrate the 70th anniversary of diplomatic ties between Thailand and Pakistan. The Islamabad Cycling Association held the event. The theme was “Green Cycling” to promote the clean and green initiatives of Pakistan.
Today marks 7️⃣0️⃣th anniversary of establishment of dip ties b/w🇵🇰&🇹🇭. To commemorate this historic milestone,a cycling event was jointly organized by @ForeignOfficePk & Royal Thai Embassy-as a tribute to initiative of ‘Clean,Green🇵🇰’.

The higher officials of both sides were also part of that event. The Additional Secretary and Spokesperson of the Pakistan Foreign Ministry, Asim Iftikhar Ahmed led Pakistani side. Whereas, Chakkrid Krachaiwong, the Ambassador of Thailand to Pakistan represented the Thai side.
The Cycling event represented the clean and green initiatives of Pakistan to diminish global warming and climatic changes. The emerging climate changes in Pakistan caused food insecurity. In the lens of Green Cycling themes the cyclist of that event gave a strong message to the world. Pakistan and Thailand work together on ongoing global warming challenges.
