Male, 2 September 2021 (TDI): High Commissioner of Nigeria to Maldives, Abioye Mohammed Bello made a courtesy call to the High Commissioner of Maldives to Pakistan, Farzana Zahir.
The call revolved around the professional purposes of diplomacy. The Nigerian High Commissioner stressed the importance of the Maldives actively engaging in African countries in order to increase trade and travel. He told the Maldivian High Commissioner that the two nations should engage closely on all topics of mutual interest.
Farzana Zahir, being the High Commissioner of Maldives to Pakistan, discussed the grave situation of Afghanistan and its impact on the region.
