Quetta, 10 September 2021 (TDI): Commissioner Afghan Refugees Balochistan, Brig Masud Khan met WHO Representative in Pakistan Dr. Palitha Mahipala. The meeting took place in Quetta on 10th-September 2021.
Commissioner Afghan refugees during the meeting acknowledged the WHO efforts in Pakistan. Brig Masud Khan highly praised the exemplary input of WHO in the Polio Eradication Initiative admits pandemic.
Commissioner Afghan Refugees also applauded WHO’s all-inclusive health system in Pakistan.
Commissioner Afghan Refugees Balochistan & WHO Representative in Pakistan during the meeting also discussed numerous methods that can support and reinforce the health system of Pakistan.
Expanding the range of health system capacity by providing vital health services predominantly in maternal & child health, nutrition & vaccination areas was also deliberated.
The meeting concluded by presenting an appreciation award to WHO representative in Pakistan Dr. Palitha Mahipala, for their continuous efforts for a uniform Health System.
