Nur Sultan, 14 September 2022 (TDI): The President of China, Xi Jinping is on a state visit to Kazakhstan. Whilst there, he met with the President of Kazakhstan, Kassym Jomart for bilateral talks.
The two Heads of state visited the exhibition “Kazakhstan-China: the Millennium Dialogue”. They discussed historical and cultural relations between the two nations from the past to the present after the official negotiations.
The Central State Museum, the Museum of the First President, and the National Museum of the Republic of Kazakhstan were included in the show.
The “Kasteev State Museum of Art” collections included about 40 archaeological exhibits in addition to decorative and fine art pieces.
A five-part exhibition detailing the growth of the Kazakh-Chinese peoples’ material and spiritual cultures was presented to the leaders of Kazakhstan and China.
Akorda hosts President Xi Jinping
Upon the arrival of President Xi Jinping, the presidential residence in Akorda hosted a ceremony to welcome the Chinese Head of state. Following a briefing from the Head of the Guard of Honor to the two leaders, the national anthems of both nations were played.

Remarks of both Presidents on the visit
On the arrival of Xi Jinping at the airport of Kazakhstan, he made a statement. He said he was “delighted to visit the beautiful country of Kazakhstan again after five years at the invitation of President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev.”
“I wish to extend, on behalf of the government and people of China, warm greetings and best wishes to the friendly government and people of Kazakhstan,” Xi said.
During the official meetings, the President of Kazakhstan thanked the Chinese President for visiting the country. This year is the 30th anniversary of Kazakhstan and China establishing diplomatic ties, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev noted.
“It is symbolic that your visit coincided with this anniversary milestone. During this short period, we have established a strong interstate relationship.
I sincerely thank you for supporting the economic development of Kazakhstan and our international initiatives,” the President said.

According to the President of Kazakhstan, “Today marks the beginning of a new golden 30th anniversary” of bilateral ties.
He deems the visit of the Chinese President to be of utmost importance because of this. The quality of Kazakh-Chinese relations was strongly acknowledged by his Chinese counterpart.
He also expressed optimism that this visit will provide new momentum for continued strengthening. Along these lines, he emphasized that China concurs with Kazakhstan’s stance on local and global issues.
