Beijing, 18 November 2021 (TDI): Chinese Premier Li Keqiang attended the special dialogue of the World Economic Forum. The virtual event was chaired by the Executive Chairman of the World Economic Forum Klaus Schwab. The event took place on 16 November 2021.
Chinese Premier addressed World Business Leaders. He emphasized Chinese commitment to a low carbon transition policy. About 400 global business leaders from over 40 countries attended the virtual dialogue.
Li highlighted that the world admires Chinese economic recovery from the pandemic. China will never change its long-term plans, he added. The Chinese Premier also stressed the Chinese commitment to opening up. He said that foreign investors can get huge benefits from the Chinese market due to its size.
He stated that China has been promoting international cooperation and market-oriented community in the world. China is one of the biggest supporters of multilateralism in the world, he added.
Li stated that China will hold equality in treating market entities. He invited all the companies from the world for business in China.
Li emphasizes anti-pandemic cooperation for economic recovery
Chinese Premier stressed that the Coronavirus pandemic has affected the world badly. China is ready to cooperate with the world to fight against the pandemic to ensure stable growth in the world.
He stated that this year has put a challenge to the rising Chinese economy. He pointed out that China is facing downward pressure in the economy this year. However, he still gave the good news to the global business leaders that China will introduce a new bill for tax reduction. He stressed that fair competition and low taxes give a healthy boost to the business. Therefore, China will bring these reforms.
Chinese Premier emphasized that China is committed to creating a better business environment in the world. He said that China will continue to work with the international community to create new business opportunities in the world.
