Beijing, 7 September 2021 (TDI): Chinese Premier Li Keqiang addressed the opening ceremony of the 7th World Conservation Congress (WCC) via video link. The premier noted that China is putting more effort to change its practices to green economic and social development.
Li said, “To preserve nature and achieve sustainable development in its modernization drive, China needs to make strenuous efforts,”. He added, “China is ready to work with all parties to build a clean and beautiful world.”
He further stated that the pandemic alleviation trajectory must be to tread the path of green and low-carbon development. Li Keqiang was of the view that the essence of multilateralism must be kept in focus and a transparent global governance model must be erected for a win-win situation.
