Islamabad:23 June 2021-(TDI): Ambassador of China, Mr. Nong Rong visited Faisal Mosque on Tuesday, he was received by Dr.Muhammad Ilyas renowned Islamic scholar and Director General of Dawah Academy of International Islamic University.
Mr. Nong Rong appreciated the architecture and design of the Mosque and thanked Dr. Muhammad Ilyas for his warm welcome at the Mosque. He met other distinguished religious scholars as well.
The ambassador said that China and Pakistan are two strong brotherly neighbors, and the people of China have a great love for Pakistan. He added that for mutual understanding cultural exchange is a key aspect.
Dr. Muhammad Ilyas briefed the Ambassador about the activities of Dawah academy and told him that quite a number of Islamic books are translated into the Chinese language.
