Chinese Ambassador holds virtual meeting with Pakistani counterpart

Islamabad, 21 October 2021 (TDI): The Chinese Ambassador to Pakistan Nong Rong talked with his Pakistani counterpart Moin ul Haque through a video link.

The two counterparts talked about bilateral relations. The Ambassadors discussed the historic, present, and future relations of the two states. They highlighted the friendship stories of the two countries with 70 years of diplomatic relations.

The purpose of the meeting was to celebrate the 50 years of Chinese lawful seat restoration in the United Nations.
The two Ambassadors highlighted the Ironclad friendship of China-Pakistan. The two countries are famously known as the Iron Brothers. The brothers who support each other in thick and thin. Pakistani Ambassador to China expressed that the relations of the two friendly countries are deeper than the ocean, higher than the mountain, and sweeter than the honey.
The Ambassadors also mentioned the love they got from their host countries. They also emphasized economic relations and underlined the major imports and exports. They further discussed the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) under the framework of the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI).

They discussed the shared future of the China-Pakistan community. The Chinese Ambassador said that the countries are cooperating on the Afghan issue. He further elaborated that the two allies will continue to cooperate for regional stability.
