China’s contribution to Ten Billion Trees Tsunami project

Islamabad: June 26, 2021-(TDI):  Chinese Ambassador to Pakistan Mr. Nong Rong took upon Twitter to share his honor in donating  7000 saplings to Pakistan.

On Thursday in an event, the Chinese ambassador along with The Foreign Minister of Pakistan planted the friendship tree to celebrate the 70th anniversary of relations between China and Pakistan.

Nong Rong in the tweet described his joy in contributing to the ten billion trees tsunami project launched by Prime Minister Imran Khan, by donating 7000 saplings to the program. In the tweet, he mentioned that he hopes the friendship tree planted by him and FM Shah Mahmood Qureshi will grow day by day and the Pakistan-China friendship will last forever.
