Iran: June 26, 2021- (TDI): The Foreign Ministers of the USA and France warned Iran to immediately return to its promises under the international deal to curb Tehran’s nuclear program. They said that they were still waiting for Tehran to rejoin the Joint comprehensive plan of action JCPOA.
Whereas, Iran’s FM spokesman Saeid Khatibzadeh responded to the comments made by USA and France Foreign ministers and said that “Iran has never left the JCPOA, so there is no point saying that it should return to the deal.”
Furthermore, he said that the United States should lift its illegal sanctions against Iran and return to the Joint Comprehensive Plan of action. The JCPOA is an agreement on the Iranian Nuclear program signed in 2015 between Iran and the countries of the European Union.
