China secured 3 more gold medals at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics on Thursday

On Thursday China secured 3 more gold medals in Olympics 2020, two in swimming events and one in the women’s table tennis final.

Zhang Yufei, the young Chinese swimmer also known as China’s ‘butterfly queen’ won the women’s 200-meter butterfly race and secured a gold medal for China in swimming.

Zhang Yufei again with her Chinese teammates Yang Junxuan, Li Bingjie, and Tang Muhan won another gold medal for China in the women’s 200-meter freestyle relay final by beating team America and Australia.

Chen Meng won the 3rd gold medal for China of the day. Chen Meng (4-2) defeated her Chinese opponent Sun Yingsha at the women’s table tennis solo finals and won gold for China. Along with this China also grabbed the silver medal in the women’s table tennis solo finals.

China is ranked second on the table with a total of 31 medals including 15 gold, 7 silver,  and 9 bronze medals.
