Chinese peacekeeping mission arrived in Lebanon

A group of almost 205 Chinese peacekeepers reached Lebanon for a yearlong peacekeeping mission.

This is the 20th batch of Chinese peacekeepers designated to ensure peace in Lebanon.

The batch consists of engineering troops and medical personnel who will be stationed in Southern Lebanon for the upcoming year.

The peacekeeping batch is trained extensively in different techniques including minesweeping, explosive ordnance disposal, the defense under emergency, and trauma treatment.
