Beijing, 29 November 2022 (TDI): Chinese President, Xi Jinping met with President Ukhnaagiin Khurelsukh of Mongolia on his state visit to China. The talks were held on the afternoon of November 28 at the Great Hall of the People.
China is prepared to cooperate with Mongolia to create a society with a shared future. Together, the two nations may support the stable, long-term growth of the China-Mongolia Comprehensive Strategic Partnership.

President Xi welcomed President Khurelsukh and noted that the two Presidents were meeting once more after a two-month break as agreed which shows their strong ties.
In addition, the two countries are each other’s key neighbors maintaining a long-term, stable relationship, friendliness, and cooperation.
In this regard, China and Mongolia shall respect each other’s independence, sovereignty, territorial integrity, and choice of development path, President Xi emphasized.
When it comes to matters involving their core interests and top priorities, they will support one another. They will improve communication and collaboration at all levels.
The Belt & Road Initiative & the Development Road Initiative, the Global Development Initiative & Mongolia’s New Recovery Policy, China’s two-step development strategy, & Mongolia’s “Vision-2050” long-term development policy are all areas where the two sides will work together.
President Khurelsukh once more congratulated President Xi on his re-election as General Secretary of the CPC Central Committee and on the success of the 20th CPC National Congress.
Moreover, President Khurelsukh reaffirmed Mongolia’s firm support of the one-China policy.
In order to strengthen the China-Mongolia-Russia economic corridor, Mongolia is prepared to collaborate with China.
Advancing Comprehensive Strategic Partnership in New Era between China & Mongolia
The two sides agreed to cooperate to advance modernization in a joint statement titled “Advancing the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership in the New Era Between the People’s Republic of China and Mongolia.”
At the conclusion of the talks, the two Presidents witnessed the signing of the bilateral cooperation agreements covering the economy, trade, investment, customs, and desertification mitigation.
