He also addressed the recent terrorist attack in Karachi, which occurred just two days earlier, reassuring the delegation that the government of Pakistan is committed to safeguarding Chinese citizens.
Pakistan ensures that such incidents do not hinder the progress of the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC). Chinese nationals working in Pakistan are national guests and contributors to the country’s development.
The Minister emphasized that CPEC is now entering a new phase. This moves from government-to-government cooperation to a stronger focus on B2B partnerships. He called on both Pakistani and Chinese enterprises to seize the opportunity to deepen their collaboration in sectors such as livestock, agriculture, minerals, textiles, and fisheries.
