Brussels, 7 September 2021 (TDI): Commissioner in charge of the European Union (EU) Agriculture Janusz Wojciechowski held a virtual talk with the Chinese Minister of Agriculture Tang Renjian to confer on predicaments and way forward pertaining to the agriculture sector.
The Chinese Minister and Commissioner of EU shed light on the bilateral cooperation and depicted alacrity to work for the betterment of the agricultural sector. Both sides also paid attention to the topics of mutual interest and future sustainable policies to enliven the agricultural policies of the EU and China.
Moreover, global food security also came under the deliberations and they pledged to strengthen the coordination in multilateral affairs. Furthermore, the agendas for the upcoming United Nations (UN) Food System Summit, G20, and World Tarde Organization were also considered.
