Chief of PM Khan met COAS of Saudi Arabia

Islamabad, 18 August 2021 (TDI): Prime Minister Imran Khan met the Chief of the General Staff of Armed forces of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia General Fayyadh bin Hameed, on 16 August 2021. Imran Khan conveyed special wishes to His Majesty King Salman Bin Abdulaziz and Crown Prince Muhammad Bin Salman. PM further added that Pakistan will continue to support the territorial Integrity of KSA.
During the meeting matters of mutual interests were discussed. PM highlighted the importance of mutual cooperation and people-to-people linkage. General Fayyadh acknowledged Pakistan’s efforts and appreciated the professionalism of the Pakistan army.
Moreover, the issue of Yemen was also discussed. Both sides agreed to solve the issue through dialogue and diplomacy. PM Khan appreciated KSA’s efforts for establishing peace in Yemen.
