Addis Ababa, 9 September 2021 (TDI): Chargé d’Affaires of Chinese Mission to the African Union Chen Xufeng Published a Signed Article Titled Fighting Against the Pandemic in Solidarity, Carrying out Virus Origins-tracing in Scientific Manner in Capital.
Chen brought into light the support extended to the African Union in the fight against the pandemic in terms of vaccines and other equipment.
Moreover, Chargé d’Affaires noted that China will keep on strengthening the global cooperation in the dissemination of vaccines.
Furthermore, on the origin tracing report, the Chinese official stated that the report is based on erroneous facts, and China supports the scientific investigation of the origins of coronavirus.
“China will continue to work with Africa and the international community to resist the backlash of politicization and bring the origins to study back to the right track of scientific cooperation, contributing China’s part to humanity’s ultimate victory over COVID-19,” Chen Xufeng pens down.
