Chairperson & CEO of Diplomatic Insight Group Meet Pak Ambassador to Austria

Vienna (TDI): Chairperson and CEO of The Diplomatic Insight Group, Dr. Farhat Asif and Muhammad Asif Noor, met with Pakistan’s Ambassador to Austria, Mohammad Kamran Akhtar, while they were in Vienna to participate in the International Digital Security Forum (IDSF) 2025.

Chairperson Dr. Farhat Asif shared the stage with four other speakers in the second session of Day 1 of the world-renowned Forum. The session discussed Bridging Continents: Human-Centric Data Governance and Data Sovereignty for Peace and Security. 

As representatives from Pakistan, the Chairperson and the CEO were received by the Ambassador wholeheartedly, as he appreciated their participation in a prestigious international dialogue and for becoming a voice of Pakistan.

Chairperson Diplomatic Insight Group Speaks at IDSF 2025

During the meeting, Dr. Farhat and Asif Noor elaborated on the work undertaken by The Diplomatic Insight Group and also informed the Ambassador about the successful media partnership of the organization with the key organizer of the IDSF, the Austrian Institute of Technology (AIT).

They also presented ideas to achieve a more sustained Pakistani presence at international fora, focusing on public and tech diplomacy. Further avenues for collaboration were also discussed.

IDSF 2025 is happening in Vienna from June 4-6, 2025 with 500 participants from 35 countries coming together to shape policy discourse around digital and cyber security. This is the 4th edition of the Forum, generating crucial dialogue in the backdrop of Balancing Sovereignty and Solidarity in the Digital Age.
