Islamabad, 8 March 2022 (TDI): The Foreign Minister of Pakistan, Shah Mahmood Qureshi wished a happy Women’s Day to women in diplomacy in particular as well as to all other Pakistani women in general.

The Foreign Minister did so on account of the International Women’s Day being celebrated today on the 8th of March. In the message, Shah Mahmood Qureshi stated that it is time to celebrate the amazing contributions of women to society.
These contributions have played a significant role in the progress of the country. He further added that the women of Pakistan are always up to set new benchmarks. They shatter the glass ceilings and progress.
Apart from the Foreign Minister’s message, several Embassies of Pakistan around the world are also sending good wishes to commemorate the day and celebrate the contributions of the women.
Pakistan Embassy Belarus
The Embassy of Pakistan in Belarus took to its official Twitter account to extend warm wishes on this Day. It stated that Pakistan salutes all the nation’s women. Professional excellence, approach, and contributions are commendable and appreciated.
Pakistan Embassy Japan
The Embassy of Pakistan in Japan extended its appreciation and acknowledged the work of women. The Embassy is celebrating the women of the nation on this day like others.
Pakistan Embassy Philippines
The Ambassador of Pakistan to the Philippines, Doctor Imtiaz Ahmad Kazi in his message commended ladies for their services. He says that their patriotic achievements are a source of immense pride for the entire nation. He referred to some of Pakistan’s ladies such as Ra’ana Liaqat Ali Khan etc as role models.
Pakistan Embassy Bahrain
The Ambassador of Pakistan to Bahrain, Muhammad Ayub expressed his satisfaction and respect for the services of women. He stated that the accomplishments of Pakistani women are laudable. He shared that many foreign missions are led by female diplomats.
In a nutshell, all Embassies of Pakistan are coming forward one by one and paying tribute to Pakistani women. Indeed the efforts of Pakistani women can not be sidelined in any area and any sector.
