Canadian High Commissioner wishes “Canada Day”

In the video, she discussed how the Covid-19 situation is getting better in Pakistan, with a decrease in the number of patients and lifting of the Canada-Pakistan travel ban. She reiterated Canada’s commitment to supporting Pakistan in achieving its development goals. She talked about education, health, and gender equality. She mentioned her visit to Northern Pakistan, where she drew attention towards climate change and the significance of women’s participation in sports. The recent Canadian confrontation with the systematic racism of the past towards the indigenous people was also addressed in the video. Then she continued her message by noting the recent racist, islamophobic and fatal attack against the Muslim Pakistani family in Canada.
