Pakistan, 16 June 2023 (TDI): Canada is excited to introduce FEMPOWER, a new program that will help women in Pakistan empower themselves. It provides the platform for Pakistani female lawmakers to analyze the latest federal budget 2023 through a gender-responsive budgeting lens.
The purpose of this initiative is to promote gender-equitable resources and equal opportunities for men and women.
Under this FEMPOWER initiative, Canada proudly supports Pakistani women in their search for gender-responsive policies and related decisions as well.
