Islamabad (TDI): British Council has announced a dynamic three-day professional development Teaching English Online Conference for educators across South Asia, which will take place from 17 to 19 July 2025.
This free, fully online event is designed for primary and secondary English teachers and education professionals, with sessions tailored to address some of the most important themes shaping English language teaching today.
With the theme “Supporting Teachers’ Professional Development”, the conference offers nine thought-provoking sessions including three expert-led panel discussions.
Teachers will explore sessions on:
- Inclusive practices to support all learners
- Integration of 21st century skills in the English classroom
- How digital technology and AI can enhance learning and teaching.

At the heart of this conference are the renowned speakers and practitioners from Bangladesh, India, Nepal, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, UK and Greece who bring decades of classroom experience, academic research, and innovation to the table.
