Karachi (TDI): The Management Association of Pakistan (MAP) sponsored the 39th Corporate Excellence Awards at the Marriott Hotel in Karachi, where Meezan Bank, the country’s top Islamic Bank, received the prestigious “Best Company in the Financial Category” award.
In addition, prominent government representatives, dignitaries, regulators, thought leaders, and members of the nation’s top business community attended the event.
Furthermore, it is the third year in a row that Meezan Bank has taken home this esteemed honor, underscoring its contributions to the growth of Islamic banking in Pakistan.
The chief guest, Mr. Murad Ali Shah, the chief minister of Sindh, presented the award to Syed Amir Ali, the deputy chief executive officer of Meezan Bank, in appreciation of the Bank’s exceptional achievement in Pakistan’s banking industry.
MAP President Senator Sarmad Ali, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Governor Mr. Faisal Karim Kundi, and other dignitaries were also amongst the esteemed audience.

The Bank has now won the prestigious title of “Best Bank of the Year – Large Size Banks” for the fifth year in a row from the CFA Society of Pakistan.
In addition to the Best Company in the Financial Category award, The Bank was also honored with the these honors; “Best Islamic Bank of the Year,” “Best Digital Banking Services of the Year,” “Best Investor Relations (Runner-up),” and “Best Transaction of the Year (2nd place).”
