Malabo, 6 June 2023 (TDI): The Foreign Minister of Belarus, Sergei Aleinik, visited Equatorial Guinea to strengthen bilateral relations and enhance collaboration between the two countries.

During his visit, Foreign Minister Aleinik held crucial discussions with Equatorial Guinea President Teodoro Obiang Nguema Mbasogo, conveying a personal message from Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko. Additionally, Aleinik extended an invitation to President Mbasogo to visit Belarus.

The conversations between Belarusian Foreign Minister Aleinik and Foreign Minister of Equatorial Guinea Simeón Oyono Esono Angue showed the similarity of approaches to critical global issues on the agenda.

Both countries’ representatives expressed their commitment to a just world order. They also emphasized the negative impact of unilateral coercive measures on sustainable development and food security.
