Baku, 30 August 2021 (TDI): Ilham Aliyev, President of Azerbaijan, expressed gratitude to the record holders as well as gold medalists of Tokyo Paralympics 2020.
16th Summer Paralympic Games is being held in Tokyo, Japan. It is scheduled from 24 August to 5 September 2021. Until now, Azerbaijan stands 6th in winning Gold Medals at points table. The President congratulated Dursadaf Karimova, Hamid Heydari, Elving Astanov for winning Gold Medal in Judo, Javelin Throw, and Shot Put games respectively and bringing joy to the country.
