Manama, 14 December 2023(TDI): The deputy minister of foreign affairs of Azerbaijan, Yelchin Rafiyev, had a visit to the Kingdom of Bahrain.
According to the reports, he met with Sheikh Abdullah bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, the deputy minister of foreign affairs of Bahrain, to exchange talks regarding diplomatic affairs.
In addition to outlining recent regional and global developments and international efforts to maintain peace and security, the undersecretary reported on bilateral ties among the two states.
Political Relations and Future Prospects
Perspectives on the present status and future prospects of Azerbaijan and Bahrain ties were also discussed during the discussion.
Additionally, the deputy foreign ministers of Bahrain and Azerbaijan also highlighted the strong political ties between their two friendly states and their intention for further cooperation in other fields.
As per the reports, both sides discussed the significance of high-level bilateral visits between Bahrain and Azerbaijan, which was raised throughout the debate and underscored how important it is to strengthen the structure regulating agreements.
During the talks, the undersecretaries of Azerbaijan and Bahrain underlined their contentment regarding the level of cooperation that they have inside international organizations and underscored the power of sustained collaboration in this regard.
According to reports, both sides agreed to arrange a meeting between the representatives of the business groups in the two countries soon after recognizing the wide range of potential for the growth of mutual cooperation in the fields of trade and economy.

At the end of the dialogue, the deputy minister of foreign affairs of Bahrain and Azerbaijan talked about regional issues and the outcomes of the 19th Regional Security Summit, also referred to as the Manama Dialogue 2023, which took place in Bahrain in this current year, from November 17 to 19, 2023.
