Buenos Aires, 29 September 2021 (TDI): The Embassy of Azerbaijan in Argentina celebrated Azerbaijan’s Commemoration Day on Monday. Several luminaries, including Pakistani, Turkish, and Azerbaijani ambassadors to Argentina, attended the ceremony.
Azerbaijan’s Ambassador to Argentina, Rashad Aslanov expressed gratitude to Pakistani and Turkish Ambassadors to Argentina, Muhammad Khalid Ejaz and Şefik Vural Altay for attending the Commemoration ceremony in Buenos Aires. Addressing the event, Ambassador Aslanov stated that the ceremony was held in remembrance of Azerbaijan’s fallen heroes during the 44-day Patriotic War against Armenia.
Ambassador Rashad Aslanov further expressed great pleasure over Muhammad Khalid Ejaz and Şefik Vural Altay’s participation during the Commemoration event and regarded their presence as a clear example of historical friendship between the three countries. He also emphasized that Azerbaijan will never forget the support of countries like Pakistan and Turkey during the Patriotic war.
