Canberra, 8 November 2021 (TDI): Australia marked the 30th anniversary of diplomatic relations with Lithuania, yesterday.

The relations between the two countries began in 1991 which marks 3 decades of long-lasting connections this month. Australian Ministry of Foreign Affairs wished Lithuania and its people to celebrate the years of trust between the states.

Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade of Australia also announced that Lithuania’s first resident Ambassador to Australia will present their credentials on the occasion. This will boost further ties between the two states.

While, the Balkan state sent greetings to Australian people warmly, over 30 years of bond. They have also shown commitment to expanding the bilateral agenda. Lithuania is hopeful to work with Australia, for a shared better future.
