Dubai, 5 September 2022 (TDI): The final four teams have been decided for the Super Four stage of the Asia Cup 2022 based on their performances. These teams include Pakistan, India, Afghanistan, and Sri Lanka.

There are different possibilities for each of the four Super Four teams to reach the final of Asia Cup 2022. All teams will play 3 matches each. The points table for the Super Four after the Pakistan-India match on 4 September is as shown
Prospects for Pakistan
Pakistan has played 1 match of Super Four with India and has won it. 2 matches with Afghanistan and Sri Lanka will be played on 7 and 9 September respectively. Possibilities for Pakistan to reach the final are:
- If Pakistan wins both of the remaining matches, it will directly go to the final.
- If Pakistan wins the match against Sri Lanka and India also wins against Sri Lanka, Pakistan will go to the final.
- If Pakistan wins against Afghanistan and India loses to Sri Lanka, Pakistan will play the final.
Possibilities for Sri Lanka
Sri Lanka won its first match of the Super Four against Afghanistan. Possibilities for Sri Lanka to reach the final are:
- If Sri Lanka wins both the remaining matches, it will play the final.
- If Sri Lanka wins against India, it will play the final.
Prospects for India and Afghanistan
Both India and Afghanistan must win their remaining two matches to reach the final because both of them have already lost their first match.
