Tehran- 5 July 2021 (TDI) Ashraf Ghani, President of Afghanistan along with his high-level delegation has reached Tehran on Thursday morning for the inaugural ceremony of Ebrahim Reisi, the president-elect of Iran.
The inaugural ceremony will be convened in the Iranian Parliament and will be attended by 100 guests from 73 countries. Ebrahim Reisi, a sixty years old hardline cleric, is the former judiciary chief who emerged victorious with 62 percent votes in the Presidential Election of Iran held on 18 June 2021. He took over Hassan Rouhani who was a two-term president of Iran. Earlier on Thursday, Ebrahim stated that he has prepared an effective plan to handle economic fragility and pandemic-produced health crises in Iran.
