On Friday, the Speaker of Pakistan National Assembly, Asad Qaiser along with his delegation met with Azerbaijani Minister of Education, Emin Amrullayev during his official visit to Azerbaijan.
In his comments, the Speaker stressed the need for a sound academic and scientific partnership between the two countries. He also discussed measures to support Pakistani students in Azerbaijan. Asad Qaiser also offered to facilitate access of Azerbaijani educational institutions to Pakistani research and engineering professionals.
Both parties agreed that building and strengthening people-to-people contacts and increasing student and academic exchanges are of great importance for consolidating cordial relations between the two countries.
 In this regard, the embassies of Pakistan and Azerbaijan were directed to coordinate with their respective ministries to take concrete measures to improve educational relations.
