Islamabad, 5 July 2022 (TDI): Federal Minister for Law and Justice Senator Azam Nazeer Tarar said that necessary steps would be taken to increase cooperation between Iran and Pakistan in the field of law.
He said that the MoU with Iran to resolve legal issues would be a pleasure for Pakistan.
The minister expressed these views in a meeting with the Ambassador of Iran to Pakistan, Syed Muhammad Ali Hosseini on Monday.

The Iranian Ambassador congratulated Senator Azam Tarar on taking over charge of the Ministry of Law and Justice.
They discussed issues of mutual interest and further development of bilateral relations during the meeting, according to a press release.
Remarks of the Ambassador:
Iranian Ambassador Syed Mohammad Ali Husseini said that he hoped that Iran’s relations with Pakistan would further improve in various fields. Relations between the two countries were good in every field and both countries should further strengthen them, he added.
The Ambassador called for increased cooperation between the two countries in the field of law and said that both countries should benefit from each other’s experiences.
He said that the head of the Iranian judiciary would be invited to Pakistan to increase assistance in the field of law.
The Iranian Ambassador hoped that Pakistan would assist Iran in bringing about reforms in civil law and that MoUs would be signed in this regard.
“I and our government wholeheartedly want the best relations with Iran. We welcome your suggestions on legal assistance and will do best for the betterment of both countries and the people,” Tarar said.
The Iranian Ambassador said that the Minister’s words were very beautiful and reflected love. He said that the Minister welcomed Iran’s judiciary and it would further strengthen the relations between the two countries. Iran wanted to promote cooperation in all fields.
He said that Iran’s supreme leader supported Pakistan on Kashmir issue and wanted to further strengthen relations with Pakistan.
