Beijing, 8 November 2021 (TDI): Pakistan Ambassador to China, Moin ul Haque visited Pakistan National Pavilion in Yiwu city of Zhejiang province. Consul General, Pakistan Consulate Shanghai, Hussain Haidar accompanied the Ambassador. Ambassador Moin ul Haque visited the pavilion to engage in economic diplomacy.
CEO of Eman Logistics Co. Ltd, Ms. Eman received Ambassador Moin ul Haque. CEO Eman Logistics is the Honorary Investment Counselor (HIC) of Pakistan. Eman Logistics Co. Ltd is the operator company of the Pakistan National Pavilion. CEO Eman Logistics Co. Ltd briefed the ambassador on the operations of the pavilion. She also briefed the ambassador on the efforts made by the team to promote Pakistani products through the platform of the pavilion.
Ambassador, Moin ul Haque lauded the efforts made by the platform of the Pakistan National Pavilion. He mentioned that a number of Pavilions have been established in China. These pavilions are contributing immensely to promoting Pakistan’s products. Promotion by the pavilion will benefit in improving Pakistan’s sales and exports in the Chinese market.
Ambassador Moin ul Haque participated in a round table discussion with representatives of local chambers of commerce and businessmen. Representatives expressed interest in investing in Pakistan’s solar energy, Halal meat, city lights, stationery, trading, and warehousing. Ambassador Moin ul Haque reciprocated their interest by ensuring support and facilitation.
Ambassador Moin ul Haque also visited members of the Pakistani community in Yiwu city. He briefed them on the government’s efforts to facilitate overseas Pakistanis. He briefed them about the government’s initiatives aimed to promote the welfare of expatriates. These initiatives included Roshan Digital Account, Pakistan Remittance Initiative, and Monthly E-Kechaharis. He thanked the Pakistani community for their constant efforts in promoting Pakistan-China Friendship
