New York, 1 October 2021 (TDI): Foreign Minister of Algeria Republic Ramtane Lamamra met with the Foreign Minister of Spain Jose Manuel. The conference accompanied various high-level level delegates where discussions about the strategic partnership between African and European partners were brought to light.
The meeting took place at the sideline of the United Nations General Assembly 76th session, where both ministers talked about enhancing bilateral relations and aggravating strategic partnership between Spain and Algeria.

In this high-level meeting, the Minister of Energy and Mines from Algeria Mohamed Arkab was also present who added to the constructive debate between the two foreign ministers of respective states of Algeria and Spain. The focus of the meeting was the strategic partnership between Spain and Algeria. A common determination was shown by the respective foreign minister to increase the partnership with the common agenda on regional and international issues.
