61st Independence Day of Chad

Chad, 11 August 2021 (TDI): The Independence Day of the Republic of Chad is celebrated every year on 11th August. The day is observed to celebrate the Republic of Chad’s independence from France in 1960. This year marks the 61st Independence Day of Chad.
The Republic of Chad is a landlocked country, situated in North-Central Africa and gained its complete independence on August 11th, 1960. The capital of Chad is N’Djamena.
The national flag consists of three vertical strips of blue, gold, and red. The national anthem of Chad is known as La Tchadienne. Arabic and French are the official languages. Islam and Christianity are the main religions of Chad.
