Riyadh, 23 September 2021 (TDI): Al-Yaom-ul-Watany is the National Day of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia celebrated every year on 23rd September. On 23rd September 1932, King Abdulaziz declared the union of the country as a kingdom.
It was the time when the two kingdoms of Hejaz and Nejd were renamed and integrated as the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Every year, Saudis celebrate the day with utter fervor and pride. They cherish their cultural heritage and celebrate the day with songs, folk dances, and traditional festivals. The whole country is embellished with beautiful Saudi flags.
