Luxembourg: June 23, 2021-(TDI) June 23 is marked, as, the National Day of Luxembourg. On this day, the country celebrates Grand-Duke’s birthday. Every year the festivities started on the eve of National Day.
Geographic Location
Luxembourg, officially the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, is located in western Europe. It is a landlocked country, surrounded by Belgium to the North-west, France to the South, and Germany to the East. It was founded in 963 and became the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg in 1819. Its total area is 2586 square kilometers. Its geography has two major regions. The Hilly region in the north is known as Oseling, and the urbanized region in the south is known as Gutland.
Population
The total population of the country according, to the latest United Nations data, is 635,864. The population density is 242 per square kilometers. Almost 88.2 % of the population lives in the urban areas of the country.

National Flags
The flag colors were first adopted, in 1830, during Belgian Revolution. However, it became the official flag of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg in 1993.
There are three equally divided horizontal bands on the flag: red on the top, white in the middle, and blue on the bottom. The colors are considered as revolutionary as it was adopted, during the Belgian Revolution.
The red color represents revolution and power. The white color depicts peace, harmony, and innocence of people, and lastly, the blue color illustrates determination and perseverance.
